EXTRA CHAIRS WERE BROUGHT IN from the dinning room in order to give every one a seat for the Seattle Chamber Players; who are, Laura DeLuca/Clarinet, Mikhail Shmidt/Violin, David Sabee/Cello and Paul Taub/Flute. Their July 10th studio concert captured the hearts of our full-house crowd with a program featuring recent commissions, beginning with a short Birthday Piece by Jorge Campos, then Two Portraits by Eddie Mora, Coming Together by Derek Bermel, the crowd pleasing Lookout by Robert Dick, and finally, four movements from Ishi (Yahi for "Man"), a dense and touching piece by Seattle's own Janice Giteck.
